What Is an Air-Gapped Cold Wallet?

An air-gapped cold wallet has no direct electronic connection to internet-connected hardware. The signing device holds the private keys offline.

The app prepares a transaction and displays a QR code. Your wallet scans the request, lets you review it and signs it offline. A second QR code carries the signed result back to the app.

This separation reduces the connected interfaces exposed during signing. It does not replace careful transaction review or safe recovery phrase storage.
